In a press release the government said it is extending permits for current workers for up to two years and setting up “one-stop” service centers in 22 provinces to aid in registration, allowing migrant workers with passports or temporary passports to register by Nov. 15 and implementing an agreement with Myanmar’s government to recruit an extra 42,000 temporary workers by November 2018.
