A recruitment agency suspended by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration got into deeper trouble after its president admitted his company had an unlicensed firm doing actual recruitment.
POEA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac on Tuesday said he ordered a second case lodged against Memere International Recruitment Company Inc., after its president paid him a visit Monday and admitted the practice.
“Please be gravely warned about some licensed recruiters who DO NOT actually recruit, and merely act as ‘processors’ of people recruited as domestic workers by the ACTUAL RECRUITERS who are NOT LICENSED,” Cacdac said. READ MORE…
