The government has adopted the guidelines for sending workers to Lebanon.The three-page guides made it mandatory for local recruiting agencies to select the workers registered with the database of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training.
Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry officials told New Age that the guidelines would ensure disciplined, safe, orderly and regular migration of the country’s workers to Lebanon.
EWOE Ministry additional secretary Ahmed Munirus Saleheen said that it would be mandatory for the recruiting agencies to follow the new guidelines for selecting male and female workers.
